Balloon Care

Please follow this balloon care guide to maximise the life of your balloon display. Air-filled bubble balloons can last from a few days to several weeks with the correct aftercare, however we do not provide any guarantee on the life of the balloon once it has left us.

Guidelines for balloon safety and care, including avoiding direct sunlight, keeping away from radiators, and away from children and pets

How long will they last?

Kept indoors at a steady room temperature, an air-filled display usually looks its best for one to four weeks, and often much longer. Foil numbers and letters hold up longest.

Balloons are a natural, handmade product, so lifespan varies with heat, sunlight and handling. Once your order has left us we cannot guarantee how long it will last.

Getting them home

Displays are always bigger than people expect. Keep the car cool on the way home. A warm car will over-expand the balloons and can pop them. Never leave a display sitting in a parked car.

Personalisation

We make personalised items exactly as you type them when you order - spelling, spacing and capitalisation included. We cannot check or correct what has been entered, so please read it back before you submit.

Ordering and collection

Everything is made to order by hand in Bridgwater, so please give us as much notice as you can.

Orders are collection only, by arrangement. We will confirm a time with you once your order is ready. We do not post balloons; inflated displays cannot travel safely by courier.

Changes and cancellations

Because every order is made to your specification and most carry a name, number or date, once we have started making your order we are not able to refund it.

If you need to change or cancel, email us as early as you can and we will do whatever we can before work begins.

Balloon colours

Colour names and photographs are a guide. Latex and foil vary between batches and screens show colour differently, so shades may not be an exact match.

Safety notice

Balloons are a decorative product, not a toy. Uninflated and burst balloons are a choking hazard, keep them away from children under eight and from pets, and clear away any pieces straight away.

Displays include small parts such as cups, sticks and bases. Please supervise young children and animals around them, and keep displays away from open flames, candles and heat sources.

When the celebration is over

Please pop your balloons and put them in the bin rather than releasing them. Released balloons come down as litter and can harm wildlife and livestock.

Foil balloons can sometimes be deflated with a straw at the valve and kept for another year.

Still not sure?

If you are planning something bigger, working to a colour scheme, or just want to check a display will fit through your front door, send us a message before you order.
